Fantasy novelist Anne McCaffrey has passed away. She was 85 years old. GalleyCat confirmed the news with Random House this afternoon.
SAAAAAAAAAAAAD! I got my start on the internet in her online forums.
She’s one of my favorite authors of all time. Go peacefully, Anne, you have changed many lives and inspired many dreamers. You will be missed.
